Fable

A fable is a short story that often features animals and objects that take on human traits to teach a moral lesson. Fables typically tell of a conflict or problem that gets resolved by the end of the story, along with a stated moral. The Greek storyteller Aesop is considered one of the most famous writers of fables of all time. Students are assigned to read or watch three favorite fables, then complete a chart with the title, characters, setting, conflict, resolution, and moral for each story.
