Netiquette is short for Internet Etiquette which is the code of


acceptable behaviors that users should follow while on the Internet.

Netiquette includes rules for all aspects of the Internet:

 FTP
 Newsgroup
 Message boards
 Chat rooms
 Instant Messaging
