1. INTRODUCTION

The e-Application system is a web-based system that allows the user to request for new electricity
supply. Having a computerized system will allow more efficient processing of applications and allow
the entire process to be completed in a much shorter duration.

This user manual is meant for property developers.

2. SYSTEM REQUIREMENT

Please ensure that the system requirement is fulfilled to enable user accessing the system.

Browser Internet Explorer 6 or later

PC Resolution 1024 x 768 or more


Other Office s/ware Microsoft Excel 2003

To access the system, a computer connected to the Internet is required. The computer should have
a web browser installed. Any recent browser version should work although the system was
extensively tested and verified to work with Internet Explorer (version 7). It is recommended that a
screen resolution of at least 1024 X 768 pixels is used when accessing the system.

3. USER ACCOUNT

3.1 Quick Start

1. Enter TNB Website : www.tnb.com.my


2. Click .

3.2 Registering New Account

1. Please ensure that you are property developer before you register into this system.
2. For first time user, click at the top of the screen.

3. Developer registration form will appear on the screen.


4. Mandatory fields are indicated with a red asterisk. You will not be allowed to submit your

registration if you do not fill in all mandatory fields. The button will only appear after
you have filled in all the mandatory fields.

5. As required, complete the following fields:

6. Once the form has been completed, Register button will appear. If compulsory field has not
completed, there will be an error message to complete the form. At the same time, the Register
button will be hidden.

7. As required, complete/review the following fields:

8. Click button once the form has been completed.


9. The system displays the message as per screen below.

10. Your account will be created once the Register button is clicked. However, the account is inactive
until the system administrator verifies the information you have submitted and consequently
activates it. Since the administrator may need to contact you for verification purposes, please
ensure that all contact information is accurate. Fill in optional information such as fax number if
applicable.
11. You will be alerted by e-mail when your account is activated.

3.2 Password Reset

1. For registered user who has forgotten their password, you may click on ‘Password Reset’ to set a
new password.

2. An e-mail will be sent to your registered e-mail address containing a randomly generated
password that you can use to access the system. Please note that the email must be the same as
the one you specified in the developer details form.

4. LOG IN
1. Browse to the following URL to access the e-Application system:
http://eapplication.tnb.com.my/eapplication
2. The link is also provided on the TNB webpage (http://www.tnb.com.my). Refer
QuickStart in 3.0. After you have successfully logged in, the following screen will appear.

3. Key in your username and password that you have registered before.

5. DEVELOPER INFORMATION

1. Click on at left-side menu to view or update developer’s information.

2. Developer details screen will appear on the screen.

3. Make some amendments if necessary and click

5.1 Director Information

1. Scroll down to the bottom of developer details page, you will see an area for Director
Information. At the beginning, there will not be any directors listed:

2. You will need to add information about at least ONE director before you are allowed to
proceed with Project registration. Please use the form at the bottom of the page to enter
information about the directors of your company. Please note that mandatory fields are
indicated by the red asterisk

3. Once the required field has been filled in, click
4. Company director information will appear on the list.

5.2 Developer Staff

1. Click Developer Staff link at Developer Details page.


2. Developer staff allows you to create additional logins for your company. These logins can be
disabled when necessary. (i.e. when the staff resigns or retires). It can be also used to give
access to a third party so that they can key-in the information.

3. Developer staff page will appear.

4. Fill in the form and click Add Developer Staff


5. A list of staff will be listed on top of the form.
6. Click on Name link to update staff details.

The staff listed can login using their IC Number as their username.

6. PROJECTS

6.1 Adding New Project

1 Click on the link to get a listing of projects defined for your property development
company. At the beginning, there will not be any projects listed.

2. Use the form to fill in details about your project.

4. New project will be listed on top of new project form.

6.2 Updating Project Details

1. Select one from the list of the project and the click on the selected item.
You can make amendment on project record if necessary. If you have done the amendment,
click ‘Update Project’.

6.3 Contractor Details

1. For each new project added, initially you will not see any Contractor or Consultant listed. In
order to proceed to next stages, you need to determine at least one contractor and
consultant for each of the project.
2. For every project, it is compulsory to fill in at least ONE contractor.
3. Click on link to add new contractor details.

4. Complete the contractor form.

6.4 Consultant Details

1. Same step goes for consultant details.


2. Click on ‘Consultant’ link to view or add new consultant information.
3. Key-in consultant’s information and click ‘Add Consultant’.

6.5 Parcel Details

1. Go to project details page.

2. Click
3. To create a new parcel, key-in all parcel information.

6.5 Adding Premises Information

1. From project parcel details, click ‘E-Application’ link to fill in premise details.

2. Key-in premise address and click ‘Add e-Application’ button.


3. List of premises will appear on top of the form. Please ensure that you only add premises up
to the number of units that you have assigned in Parcel Details form, and the number is
consistent with the planning information.

6.7 Premise Owner’s Details

1. Click on the premise number to fill in premise’s owner details.


2. Premise owner application form will appear on screen.

3. Key-in the premise’s owner details and click ‘Update e-Application’ button.
4. Click ‘Print’ at the top of the form to print out the form.
5. You can check the status of submitted projects and individual form.

5. For example, the above picture shows that Projeck Perumahan Tanjung has been uploaded
to TNB Billing System(eCIBS) and return the project NC Number. All the stages has
already completed.
6. The same thing goes to individual form. The picture shows that the individual form has not
yet submit to TNB Billing System (eCIBS) and not return any NC Number. Any modification
for online form can still be made as long as the form has not upload to TNB Billing System
(eCIBS).

7. LOGOUT

Click on the ‘Logout’ link on the left menu to logout from the system. This will ensure that no one else
can access your account after you leave your PC. You will need to login again if you want to use the
system later. The system will automatically log you out after about 15 minutes of inactivity.
