complexion .

Javeriya : imama's friend

Jalal - A doctor and older brother of Zainab , he had beard and uncountable love for Muhammad (p.b.h.h

Hashim Mubeen:Father of Imama and Waseem.Sikander , he was preacher of his religion

Usman - Salar's father.

Tayyaba - Salar's mother and Sikander Usman's wife.Saad Zafar - A friend of Salar in New Haven.Dr
Furqan - A devoted Muslim and doctor.Dr Sibt-e-Ali - An Islamic scholar in Lahore.Saeeda Amma - First
cousin of Sibt-e-Ali.

MAIN POINTS OF STORY:-

1) salar attempted societ and imama saved his life by giving him first aid .

2) imama listened jalal Ansar's naat and fell in love with his voice
3) imama started to join sabeeha's Islamic events to learn about Islam and later she started to learn
different religious books , islam and than accepted Islam

4. Imama proposed jalal ansar , but e rejected.Imama did nt want to merry asjad because she had
accepted Islam , asjad was ahmedi so she did nikah with salar to get rid of him. Salary just helped her
and had no feelings of love for imama

5. Salar helped imama to get out of her home ,and left her Lahore from Islamabad.Salar was
investigated by imama's family but he they could not find any proof against him

6. One day salar was in Islamabad hills , two boys came , hit him , snatched his all belongings, tie
him with tree , he was about to die , he was afraid of day of judgement , later he was saved somehow

07. Salar started to learn Islam after death touching event , with the passage of time he fell in love
with imama

helped imama . after completion her BS , saida amma (cousin of Dr.sabat Ali ) accepted her as a

10. Imama got fake news of death of salar from his father, later she was going to merry Fahad , this
was decision of saida amma , fahad rejected on the day of marriage . all family were tensed , Dr.sabat ali
insisted salar to save imama from notorious life

11. Salar accepted Dr.sabat Ali proposal because he could not say NO to him, the girl amna was
unknown form him , but later he came to know he was married with imama

SUMMARY

Imama belongs to Ahmedi religion, a community that is deemed non-Muslim under the constitution of
Pakistan and also Shariah laws. Salaar is young man of supreme intelligence and an IQ of 150+. Instead
of using his IQ for a good purpose, Salaar considers it a curse and indulges in all kinds of sins, great and
small. When a twist of fate leaves Salaar under the burden of a favor by Imama, a story takes place that
has become almost an identity of Umera Ahmed. This story is primarily about Salaar and Imama looking
for the right path, the straight path, a path that Imama has found and which continues to elude Salaar. It
is a story of transformations and coming full circles. It is a story of lives that Prophet Muhammad
(PBUH)'s legacy is still mentoring.In life at time or another we come to a point where all relationship
ceases where there is only us and Allah. There are no parents, brother or sister, or any
friend. Then we realise that there is no earth under us nor is there sky above, but only Allah who is
supporting us in this emptiness. Then we realise our worth it is not more than a grain of sand or the leaf
of a plant. Then we realise our existence is only confined to our being. Our demise makes not a whit of
difference to the world around us, nor to the scheme of things.“PEER-E-KAMIL” ( ThE PERFECT MENTOR)
is one of the best and popular Urdu Novel written by famous Pakistani writer Umaira Ahmad. It has been
written about Everlasting love, the love of ALLAH Almighty, which emerges from the love of holy Prophet
(Pbuh). The story of a novel is very strong, rich and definitely very inspiring one which really can touch
anyone’s heart, while reading it. Umaira Ahmad being blessed with best literary skills has written this
novel in a remarkable way. She has a complete mental clarity about the spiritual theme and religious
concept of the novel that she skilfully has conveyed to her readers.The story revolves around two main
characters, Imamma and Salaar. Imamma is a college girl, studying medicine. Her family belongs to a
particular sect but then she starts getting attracted towards Islam and tries to find the way to eternal
success. This is the time when her journey begins towards deep love of ALLAH and his Prophet (pbuh)
with a lot of sufferings and hardships on her way. Salaar, the other main character of the story is totally
opposite of her. Belonging to a liberal family, he is completely ungrateful of his blessings.He is in
constant search of extreme pain, and many times tries to commit suicide. Once Imamma saves his life
and in turn he helps her to get out of the difficult situation ……….. And then there is a beginning of the
difficult phases of their lives ……….. What made them fall in love with each other?…………. How does an
incident changed Salaar’s life?……. How do they suffer in their life? Answers to all these queries can be
found after the complete reading of the novel.Imama’s Character has been portrayed as an Epitome of
sacrifice. When she runs away from her home to search love of ALLAH, she has to face many hardships.
She is a part of society, which is not very kind for women. But still she shows with her determination,
when someone believes in God’s power and his justice, he/ she will never be disappointed. “To what
extent I will love you, I do not know. This is the matter of the heart and I have no control over my heart.
But this I do know that as long as we are together, I will be faithful and obedient to you, this within my
purview. I will be with you at every difficult point of our lives; no matter what life throws at us, I will be
there with you as your support. I have become a part of your life in good times; if things change and we
face adversity I will be by your side.”So many turns in the lives of characters of the novel are there,
which motivates the reader to finish it in a single sitting. It is very inspiring to know that how the title
Peer-e Kamal has been featured on the lives of Imamma and Salaar. This mystery is the actual beauty of
the novel. This novel gives a very positive message to its readers. Once you read it, you have a chance to
get yourself enriched with spiritual thoughts. The people who have pessimistic approach about their
lives should particularly read these novels, as it will help them to develop an optimistic approach to life,
through a deep insight.The writer has really done a wonderful job by writing such a beautiful novel. The
discussion can be concluded by quoting Umaira Ahmad’s own words: “some are born virtuous, some
become virtuous. To be good by nature is indeed fortunate but to become good is like walking on a
double edged sword; it takes a longer time and is more painful.”

it is said that one doesn't get the person one loves--do you know why that happens? it is because there
has to be sincerity in love in the absence of sincerity there is no love when i fell in love with jalal nine
years ago there was complete honesty in my love for him i prayed ans did everything i could to make my
dreams come true...and yet i did not achieve my desire. do you know why that happened? because by
then you had already begun to love me and your love was truer than minei now feel that God created
me with great care he did not wish to give me to someone who would not acknowledge or appreciate
me who would not respect me and that is what would have happened with jalal he would never have
respected me in these years God has shown me these realities He has revealed the good and the bad in
all men in these nine years and then He have me in the marriage to Salar Sikander knowing that he
alone loves me truly who else would have brought me here except you ? you were right when you said
that your love for me was pure and true

This quote is taken from the end of the book , this quote and the last part is my favourite one , because
of the following reasons

. it reveals why we can't access our love sometimes

. Allah has decide to give us better than what we demand

. sometimes we demand wrong things , if we can't get them we should wait.

.we should believe on Allah

. we should be strong in our lives, not attract by those sins who make picture of temporary comfort in
our minds

. if your love is true and clean , u will be helped by Allah.
