Grading Policy

Quiz Total

A 5-point question will be given at the beginning of each class. These questions
will focus mainly on the mechanics of Calculus formulas. By the end of the
semester you will have ample opportunity to accumulate 100 points from these
daily questions. The points you earn will make up your Quiz Total ≤ 100.

Tests

You may drop the lowest of your semester Tests or the Quiz Total. Any absence
on the day of a test will constitute a dropped grade.

There will be no make-ups on Quizzes or Tests.

Final Exam

The Final Exam is required.

Grading Rubric

93 and above = A
90-92 = A-
87-89 = B+ Your course grade will be determined as
follows:
83-86 = B
80-82 = B- 1st Highest Test = 20%
77-79 = C+ 2ndHighest Test = 20%
73-76 = C 3rd Highest Test = 20%
70-72 = C- 4th Highest Test OR Quiz Total = 20%
67-69 = D+ FINAL EXAM = 20%
63-66 = D
60-62 = D-
59 and below = F
