11. S1 and S2 are two hollow concentric spheres enclosing charges Q and 2Q respectively as shown in Fig.
(i) What is the ratio of the electric flux through S1 and S2 ?
(ii) How will the electric flux through the sphere S1 change, if a medium of dielectric constant 5 is
introduced in the space inside S1 in place of air ? (2)

13. A charge Q is distributed over two concentric hollow spheres of radii r and R (>r) such that the surface charge
densities are equal. Find the potential at the common centre. (4)
14. Three concentric metallic shells A, B and C of radii, a, b and c (a < b < c) have surface charge densities +σ, -σ and
+σ respectively, as shown in the fig.
(i) Find potential of three shells A, B, C (ii) If shells A and C are at the same potential, obtain the relation
between radii a, b, c.

15. State and prove Gauss theorem. Or Find electric field near a charge infinite rod with linear charge density λ
