Bride Doll Tutorial

WHAT YOU NEED

 2.5 mm (US 1.5) standard crochet hook (or YARN COLORS


in accordance with the yarn you use)
1. CC1 yarn (white)
 tapestry needle
2. CC2 yarn (light yellow)
 soft stuffing (cotton, wool, polyfill or similar)
3. CC3 yarn (brown)
 eyes, size 6 mm, preferably black glass

USED ABBREVIATIONS
 ch = chain stitch  sctbl = sc through back loop only
 dc = double crochet stitch  tr = treble crochet stitch / triple crochet
 dec = decrease - sc next 2 stitches together stitch
 hdc = half double crochet stitch  bl = bobble stitch made from a 4 dc‘s
 inc = increase - sc in indicated stitch 2 worked into the same stitch and placed
times together
 lp(s) = loop(s)  [ ] ...x = repeat instructions in brackets ...
Times
 rnd(s) = round(s)
 BLO = back loops only
 sc = single crochet stitch
 mr = magic ring or magic loop
 sc3tog = sc next 3 stitches together at a

 sk = skip  FLO = front loops only

 st(s) = stitch(es)  YO = yarn over

SOME USEFUL HINTS


1. Make sure you crochet pretty tight to prevent getting large stretching holes between the stitches
so the stuffing doesn’t get out.
2. If you want to crochet loosely, use a smaller hook size.
3. The chain stitches at the beginning of each row should not be counted as a stitch, so you should
always make your stitch into the same stitch where you made your slst at the end of the last row.
4. this pattern is worked bottom up. That means you’ll start at the feet and work up to the top of
her head.
5. The choice of yarn is completely up to your taste.

Bride's DETAIL

LEGS (make 2 of them)
Make a magic loop using the CC1 yarn (white).

01. [sc] 6x in the yarn loop and tighten the loop

 Join CC2 yarn (light yellow)

 Now break the yarn and work the 2nd leg in the same way.
 Do not break the yarn after you have finished the 2nd leg, because we will continue
connecting the legs right after.

JOINING the LEGS:

 Join CC1 yarn(white)


12. sc 8 into the next stitch of 2nd leg,
sc 9 into the 5th stitch of the 1st leg,
sc 1 into the remaining stitch of the 2nd leg

VEIL
Use the CC1 yarn (white) and 2.0 mm (US 0) standard crochet hook .
Turn and add chain stitch each round.

01. Make a chain of 26 chains and insert hook into 2nd chain from the hook side.
02. sc 1, [ch 5, sk 3, sc 1] 6x, ch 1 –turn (25 sts)
03~11. (9 rnds) just follow the pattern(Pic-1 Veil Chart) below
 If the VEIL seems too short, you can work more round.
 If the VEIL seems too long, you can skip 1~2 round.
 Break the yarn and make sure you leave enough yarn.

1. When you join the VEIL and HAIR, use the remaining yarn from the VEIL
2. Put the VEIL in place like the picture below and sew it onto HAIR.
