WARMING UP (LESSON OVERVIEW) Students will work on the workbook from last topic.
Enunciación
(temática a presentar en la clase) Unit 3: FITNESS FANATICS

Can- Can’t

 Discuss the meaning of “Fitness Fanatics” Elicit what students think the unit is going to be about.
 Ask students what their favorite sports or physical activities are, write on the board to see how many students
like each one.

 Video to introduce the topic about can - can’t. The teacher will replay the video to ask questions related to
the topic.
 Students will do a role play, in which they ask each other what they can or can’t do.
 Students will watch the video from the students’ book that explains the grammar. Then, the teacher will
explain it and will ask students to form sentences.
 Students write the grammar explanation and some exercises on their notebooks.
 Practice the topic with the students’ book and workbook.
 Students will have a board game by groups of 4, in which they practice the topic.

Adverbs of manner

 Write the adverbs of manner on the board and ask students to form sentences.
CLASS MANAGEMENT  Students will do an exercise on their notebooks.
Ejercitación  Students will try to find the opposite of each adverb.
(Desarrollo de la clase)  Practice the topic with the students’ book and workbook.

Modal Verbs: Have to, Haven’t - Must , Mustn’t

 Oral exercises to introduce the topic.


 Teacher will show some traffic signs to introduce the topic.
 Write 5 exercises on notebooks
 Practice the topic with the students’ book and workbook.
 Writing about things they have to do in a sport game.
 Interactive activity from page 46 exercise 2.
