FACEBOOK APP
Good Designs:

1)Satisfying:
It is very satisfying to users. For example, when there is a network connection problems, it
shows “Network Error” on the top of the feeds when the users slide down to refresh the top
feeds. This way, the users know what is going on, and what to do next.

2) Enhancing sociability:
It helps enhance sociability. It has option to send different reactions to someone posts,
comment on those posts and also helps share them among your friends.

3) Freedom and Choice:

When we post a status, Facebook allows us to tag other friends, location of where we are at,
plus our emotions or the activity we are doing into just one status. The users can change the
privacy of the status, photos for who can see the photos. Also, users can edit delete the status
of their own as well.

4)Convenient:
It is very convenient in a way for example when users try to do something like deactivate their
account that Facebook try to warn the users many times before they decided to commit the
action.

5)Helpful:
There are online document and help where users can actually access when they need. The help
is categorized into separate topic. Some are “Join Facebook”, Login & Password”. It uses
keywords that users can easily understand and know where to go into. Users can ask questions
while there are most-asked question asked by Facebook users. Most answers provide solution
to users’ questions.

Bad Designs:
1) Annoying:
Along with useful responses and feedback there are some annoying feedback like “Sorry,
something went wrong please try again”, here user gets confused either its connection
error or something else.

2) Inconsistency:
There’s inconsistency in the news feed. Ads are displayed while user scrolls the news feed
section.

3) Frustrating:
Sometimes its frustrating for users how they get bombarded by several irrelevant
notifications like who is liking whose photos and what other person commented on other
person’s photo.

4)Privacy Breach:
Even those people who aren’t friends with you on facebook are able to see your comments
on yours and others’ posts and anyone can have access to you profile and cover photo.
5)Incomplete Features:
Here’s a thing mobile app doesn’t assist messages unlike web and users must need to install
another app “messenger” in order to chat on Facebook. This incomplete app features might
not be convenient for all the users.
