Security – Users and Roles

Objectives:

To learn

• Security Console

• Create User and Assign Roles

• Important Roles

Create User

Home Page comes up; Navigate to Navigator > Tools > Security Console
Click on Users and ‘Add User Account’
Enter user details and click on Add Role

Enter Application Implementation Consultant in Search field and choose Application Implementation
Consultant and click on Add Role Membership

Similarly search and add the below roles

- Important Common Roles


o Application Implementation Administrator
o Application Implementation Manager
o Application Implementation Consultant
o IT Security Manager
o All Users
o Employee
- GL Roles
o General Accountant
o General Accounting Manager
o Chief Financial Officer
o Controller
o Financial Analyst
- AP Roles
o Accounts Payable Manager
o Accounts Payable Specialist
o Accounts Payable Supervisor
o Supplier Administrator
o Supplier Manager
- AR Roles
o Revenue Analyst
o Revenue Manager
o Accounts Receivable Manager
o Accounts Receivable Specialist
o Billing Manager
o Billing Specialist
- FA Roles
o Asset Accountant
o Asset Accounting Manager
- Purchasing Roles
o Buyer
o Category Manager
o Procurement Manager, Requester, Preparer
o Advanced Procurement Requester
o Supplier Administrator
o Procurement Catalog Administrator

Click on Save and Close and login as the new user
