As explicitly highlighted in the graph, glass production involves 4


main stages, commencing with mixing ingredients and
culminating with releasing glass products. Meanwhile, five stages
are required for recycling glass.

At the first stage of former picture, sand , soda ash, limestone and
other chemicals are mixed. They are then placed in glass furnace.
The process continues with shaping and consequently molten
glass is blown. At the final stage, glass articles are manufactured
and are ready for the consumption.

Regarding the glass recycling, collecting used glass containers is


at the outset of this process. After the washing stage, they are
afterward sorted by color. Prior to being crushed into small
pieces, they are washed to remove impurities. Eventually, having
been melted, that liquid is moulded into final items.
