Employees are an essential resource in an organization, institution, company, and any

other industry. Excellent working relationship in the workplace has a positive impact as it

enables an institution to achieve mission and vision. However, conflict in the workplace between

the employees or management is due to differences in values, personalities, and views. The

unconducive environment in place of work have a detrimental consequence; hence, strategies

should be adopted by top management for the worker to work together effectively. This includes

appropriate supervision to ensure teamwork, understanding, trust, and dignity, and the worth of

each worker prevails. Supervisors play a significant role in supporting the success of employees.

Understanding the root cause of disagreement is essential. The supervisor should try to

investigate and come up with the real reason for his/her co-officers’ inappropriate attitude in the

place of work. It is essential to get an initial reading of what is at the root of the problem to solve

the problem effectively and prevent future controversies. Some employees have personal issues

such as stress, frustration arising from their family setting, or workplace. If the weird behaviors

of officers are a result of the failure, the supervisor has to organize a counseling session to

address the problem. The supervisor's job is to be constructive, compassionate, and encourage

staff to resolve the issue. Psychotherapy is used to prevent further measures, including formal

punitive action, when the problems of an employee’s effect results (Dayal & Thomas,2017).

Additionally, consider taking a systematic approach while interacting with officers with

negative attitudes in the workplace. This method involves assessing if the condition is charged

emotionally and identifying the extent of the problem. Consult each worker directly after you've

identified the problem to let them understand that you are aware of the problem. Then, foster

open interaction and resolution among the staff involved.

Furthermore, the supervisor has to encourage workers to address the issue out on their

own. For practical teamwork in place of work, the supervisor should provide instructions to

assist all officers in approaching each other rationally and respectfully. The supervisor has to pay

attention to both parties since most workers need to be understood or accepted. Each responsible

employee will be asked to explain their side of the argument. The supervisor has to support

officers and new staff to specify their intended results as well as accomplish their outcomes by

working with others. When all workers have had this chance, will ask each of them to make

suggestions on how to address the problem as well as ways of improving work relationship in the

organization (Gross & Guererro,2016).

The other way to ensure new employees and other members of the organization work

together more effectively is by laying out the rules and regulations in the organization. Employee

handbooks will protect workers and allow you to keep an organized, healthy work atmosphere.

Workers ' standards are required and, therefore, should be taken into account. The supervisor

should ensure the message is clear that all workers will be held responsible for their actions,

despite position or tenure. Each officer has to understand that if accepted expectations are not

met could lead to disciplinary measures. This will help Workers know what is required of them,

not only in the job they do but also in their attitudes as well as in other aspects of the working

relationship (Basadur, 2018). Rules and regulations in the place of work are fundamental, and

they will help manage the workplace and employees better.

Training of employees in the workplace is also essential. Employees with poor

communication skills tend to possess these sorts of problems. If workers have a lot of

disharmonies, it's probably the responsibility to teach them some practical communication skills

as well as problem-solving tactics. Supervisors must serve as an instructor when staff and team

members are new in the organization. Training helps them to understand the organization

procedures, changes, and when they address performance requirements with fellow employees.

Also, to ensure that workers have the expertise they need to carry out their respective jobs and

also to give them the chance to demonstrate their abilities and capabilities.

Also, the supervisor requires to support the career growth of workers in the organization

without any discrimination against race, tribe, or language. Evaluations of temperament and

learning enable workers to work more efficiently as a group. Training supervisors and managers

to guide staff in this field is essential for the organization. It helps workers how to express their

emotions and thoughts ethically. The strategies will help them to resolve disputes amicably with

their colleagues in the organization (Allen & Montgomery, 2016).

The management has to encourage some plans for an employee to work together more

effectively in the organization. The role played by the supervisor includes ensuring the conflicts

in the workplace are minimize for higher productivity. Understanding the root cause of

disagreement, the proper channel of communication between workers and top management,

encouraging workers to address the issue out on their own, having rules and regulations in the

workplace are some of the key strategies that would enable the employees to work together as a

team. Further, the supervisor should mentor employees, offer training as well as coaching them

in the various field for effective positive results. Actively involved workers will help the

organization accomplish its objective, execute its plan, and create significant Organization

productivity.
