 Requirements for Flipmart
In this section we will present the recommended configuration under which the theme would work
perfectly. Those are not absolute values, the theme performance depends on many factors like
the host performance, server configuration and the number of visitors.

Server requirements

WordPress 4.0 or later

Apache or Nginx
php.ini memory limit: 40MB (recommended: 64M)
PHP version 5.2.4 or greater (recommended: PHP 5.4 or greater)
MySQL version 5.0 or greater (recommended: MySQL 5.5 or greater)
The mod_rewrite Apache module (optional)

For optimal performance the server requires some settings to be made, the optimizations
include:

 Install Flipmart Theme
Flipmart Can Be Installed in 2 Different Ways:
1. Installing through WordPress
2. Uploading through FTP (File transfer protocol)

1: Installation through WordPress:

Installing a theme through WordPress is quite a simple process. After you have logged into
your WordPress account and are ready to go, on the sidebar of the Admin panel navigate to
Appearance and then select Themes. After that, click on the Install Themes tab and select
upload from the navigation bar below. Click the button “choose file” and locate your Theme zip
file (flipmart.zip), then click the “install now” button.

After Flipmart is installed, find the Theme in Appearance > Themes and click Activate.

First of all, we would like to specify that we do not guarantee the compatibility of our theme
with all the third-party plugins for WordPress. Our Theme is fully compatible only with the
plugins that are included in our theme and also WPML plugin. You often (not always) need to
customize the extension to make it work properly with your theme. It's impossible for theme
author to make the theme compatible with all existing extensions. Please, take that into your
consideration and treat with understanding!

 Update the Theme
Envato WordPress Toolkit Plugin Installation:
Using that plugin you can easily update your theme and get notifications about it. To do so
follow the steps below:

1. Go to Appearance -> Install Plugins

2. Hover your mouse over Envato WordPress Toolkit plugin, and click Install.
3. From the dashboard menu, go to Plugins
4. Find Envato WordPress Toolkit Plugin, and press Activate
5. From dashboard menu go to Envato Toolkit menu
6. Enter your Envato Marketplace username and Secret API Key
7. Click on Save Settings button

Note: After you do this, you will be informed when each theme is updated, and can use this
feature to easily update your theme.

(Optional) Easy Theme and Plugin Upgrades Plugin Installation

To ensure easy and smooth updating of themes, we suggest that you install the Easy Theme and
Plugin Upgrades plugin. To do this, follow the steps below:

1. Go to Plugins -> Add New

2. Search for Easy Theme and Plugin Upgrades
3. Click on Install Now button
4. Click on Activate after installation

 Increase Max Input Vars
What is Max Input Vars?
It limits the number of input variables, this limitation affects $_GET, $_POST and $_COOKIE
superglobal separately. In our theme, it can affect menus.

1 Increasing Max Input Vars in php.ini File

At the end of the php.ini file, add below line of codes. The php.ini file can be found
in /user/local/bin/, /etc/php5/ or … depending on the host provider. If you can not find
it, it’s best to contact your host provider.

2 Increasing Max Input Vars in .htaccess File

It’s also possible to increase it from .htaccess file in root WordPress installation’s
directory. Add below line of codes at the end of the .htaccess file.

Step 1 - From your dashboard click on Tools -> Import -> WordPress and install WordPress
Importer.
Step 2 - Click on Activate plugin & run importer.
Step 3 - Click browse and navigate to content.xml file from Demo Content folder
(previously downloaded from Themeforest).
Step 4 - Click Upload file and import.
Step 5 - Check Download and import file attachments.

If you don't get the All done have Fun! message go to Appearance -> Menus delete all the menus

1 Unzip Flipmart Themeforest Download File.

when you download complete package from themeforest and unzip it on your machine then
you will find flipmart-child.zip file in that themeforest downloaded unzip folder then
you have to install that flipmart-child.zip like any other WordPress Theme

2 Activate child theme.

so once you install Flipmart child theme then you have to activate it so that is it. Now
your Flipmart child theme is install and activated so you can make change what ever you
