JAC members present- Mayank, Shishir, Shirin, Pulkit, Shikhar, Darshan

SAC members present- Rishi, Sushant, Aarushi

Points discussed:

 Ensure better social media handling (frequent posts and consider social media traffic)
(Shishir, Shikhar- LinkedIn, Darshan, Shirin - Facebook, Pulkit, Mayank – Instagram)
 Ensure better coordination between each other.
Action item- Meet more often and keep each other apprised of all the happenings on the
WhatsApp group. Let’s divide work between each other so that things don’t go haywire.
 JAC would be receiving all usernames and passwords of databases and social media and only
2-3 people will be given responsibility to handle the database
 Alums coming strictly for placements do not fall under the purview of Alumni Committee
unless they approach us themselves through Placement Committee
 Delhi Chapter- Aarushi will add Shishir and Pulkit on the WhatsApp group and give them
further details
 Hoodie design- Carry it forward from where Lokpriya left or request her to complete it.
 Batch-wise alum groups should always be kept in Bcc while sending mails from the Alumni
email id to maintain privacy
 SAC is pondering over addition of 7th member and will let us know in few days
 SAC will add JAC in the Big Alum group on WhatsApp. We need to give a short introduction
and have to ask alums to join the closed group on LinkedIn
 Do not include Alumni Committee signature while sending mails internally as they contain
links to all closed groups on social media. We can only include the sign while sending the
mails to alums
 Melange- We need to prepare a presentation to the director about Melange; all the
activities, events and budget. We have to list down all the pros and cons of conducting it in
Shillong or in any other metro city. We also need to details for formation of Alumni
Association
Action Item- We should meet today and chart out a rough plan
 Somebody needs to join Shikhar for Admin POC to fill in for Lokpriya
 We need to start building relationships with Upasna Agarwal and Ashutosh Dixit (PGP 8-10)
as they are on the Board of Governors of IIM Shillong
 Sync Alum Comm email ID in your phone
 There is an Alumni directory in which alums have been divided into 3 categories; A (those
who have filled all their details while passing out), B (those whose name and contact we
have) and C (we have only their names). We need to convert C’s to B’s leveraging social
media
 We are proposing to have a short director’s video to be posted to alums
 Planning to scrap Newsletter and send only teacher’s articles which the alums actually value
 Mentor Mentee Programme- Float EOIs for alums and students to gauge interest in the
program and frame rules for it
 KYA- Keep contacting alums for KYAs and finalize the KYA format
 VC’s- Contact Shashanka Palladagu from HSBC, Jatin and Anjal from Nomura, Ananya
Agarwal from ICICI Bank and Arpit Jog and Ashish KS from Fidelity
