Caveats

 Do not expect a magical transformation

• There is no Princess and there is no Toad!
• Training shows a way, and sensitizes on corporate
requirements but students will need to work hard,
practice and develop
 Do not expect new-to-the-world revelations
• Personal Grooming or Managerial skills are largely
common sense
• Classroom Training is only one of the many
interventions needed.

Caveats

 Appreciate the “mixed” group

• Students from public and vernacular schools, from
large cities and small cities, with less and with more
experience/exposure
• Modules may be vague for some, basic for others
 Don’t undermine importance of Technical work
• This programme makes us smarter and more ready
for corporate requirements.
• Accurate Accounting/Compliance/Reporting keeps
us out of jail!
• Both are important

The Pygmalion Effect

 Refers to how a person can be developed to

his/her full potential if:
• There is strong interest and motivation on part of
the learner
• There is good guidance from the master
 Let’s try a Pygmalion Effect in these 15 days
• We should unleash the full potential of each and
every student here.
• Let’s Multiply Our Potential!
