Our Script. ACTIVIDAD 2

The script is for a job interview between an employer and two candidates for a position as an advisor at a diaper company. The employer asks each candidate for their name, age, experience with babies, strengths, how long they have been unemployed, what they liked about previous jobs, if they are pursuing other opportunities, why they want to work there, and why they left their previous role. The candidates provide polite answers to each question. At the end, the employer thanks the candidates for coming and says they will be in touch, while the candidates thank the employer for the opportunity.

The Interview (Script)

In this file, you have to create the script or dialogue for your “job interview”.
Example: one member of the group (the employer) asks questions to one
candidate for the job (candidate 1), he asks the same questions to the other
candidate (candidate 2) at the same time. In parentheses write the location.
Example:

(In the office)

The employer: Welcome to “RMA Company”, it’s a pleasure to have you here, I’ll
make you some questions to both of you and at the end I’ll decide who will get the
job.

The employer: Good morning.


Candidate 1: Good morning.
Candidate 2: Good morning.
The employer: What is your name?
Candidate 1: My name is Pedro.
Candidate 2: My name is Pablo.
The employer: How old are you?
Candidate 1: I am 27 years old.
Candidate 2: I am 30 years old.

Now, make your script or dialogue. The text must contain 200 words at least.
Use simple present in most of the dialogue. Do not add pictures.

The employer: Full name

The employer: Good morning. My name is Lizeth Yadira Ramirez Patron; I´m in
charge of the work staff welcome to the little giant diaper
Candidate: Good morning.
The employer: The position that we offer you is an advisor
Candidate: ok
The employer: What is your name?
Candidate: My name is Yari Fernanda Leon.
The employer: How old are you?
Candidate: I am 26 years old.
The employer: Tell me you babies? Dime te gustan los bebes
Candidate: yes of course I find them charming. Si claro me parecen encantadores.
The employer: What is your experience? Cuál es su experiencia?
Candidate: Well, the truth is that I have almost no experience with children, but I
have worked serving users and I have done very well. Pues la verdad no tengo
casi experiencia con los niños, pero he trabajado atendiendo a usuarios y me ha
ido muy bien.
The employer: How she describes herself? Cómo se describe así misma?
Candidate: I am a creative, organized, loving person, since. I am the mother of a
beautiful couple and I feel able to attend to and understand the needs of children.

The employer: What are your strengths? Cuáles son tus fortalezas?
Candidate: I am very good at analyzing children, I focus on people's tastes and I
am also very good at giving ideas as a fashion consultant. Soy muy bueno
analizando a los niños, me centro en los gustos de las personas y también soy
muy bueno dando ideas como consultor de moda.
The employer: How long have you been without a job? ¿Cuánto tiempo llevas sin
trabajo?
Candidate: about how three months I haven't been working. acerca de cómo tres
meses no he estado trabajando.
The employer: What did you like most about your previous job? ¿Qué es lo que
más te gustó de tu trabajo anterior?
Candidate: What I liked the most was working with honest, understanding and
collaborative people. Lo que más me gustó fue trabajar con personas honestas,
comprensivas y colaborativas.
The employer: Are you in another selection process? ¿Estás en otro proceso de
selección?
Candidate: not really for now realmente no por ahora
The employer: Why do you want to work with us? Porque desea trabajar con
nosotros.
Candidate: The truth is that it is a good job opportunity since at the moment I am
unemployed, the working hours are adapted to my personal needs and it would be
a life experience to work more to please the children. La verdad es que es una
buena oportunidad de trabajo ya que en este momento estoy desempleado, las
horas de trabajo están adaptadas a mis necesidades personales y sería una
experiencia de vida trabajar más para complacer a los niños.
The employer: Why did you leave your previous job? ¿Cuál es el motivo por el
que dejó su último trabajo?
Candidate: There was a cut in staff because sales fell at the paper mill where I
worked and I was on that list. Hubo una reducción en el personal porque las ventas
cayeron en la fábrica de papel donde trabajaba y estaba en esa lista
The employer: ¿Cuándo puede empezar a trabajar?
Candidate: I'll be ready when you want to call me. Estaré lista cuando quieras
llamarme.
The employer: Thank you very much for coming, we'll be in touch. Muchas gracias
por venir, estaremos en contacto.
Candidate: Thank you for this opportunity, hope to here from you soon. Gracias
por esta oportunidad, espero tener noticias pronto.
The employer: Goodbay
Candidate: Goodbay
