1.0 SCOPE AND OBJECTIVES

3.0 WORK LOCATION/ACCESS REQUIREMENTS

Building No1-A

4.0 METHODOLOGY/PROCEDURE

Base strata

a) Compacted excavation material (from site), selected to remove large boulders above 150mm
nominal diameters.

b) Level of sub strata – top of beam + 33.280

c) Plinth level – Top of ground slab (plinth level) for building 1A is 150mm (minimum) above the
surrounding finish level. Plinth level 1A = 33.85 ( 33.70 + .15 )

d) Anti-termite treatment to be applied prior to cast the ground slab casting.

e) Maximum area of slab – 22.5sqm

f) Finish to surface - Tamped with wooden dhoomas/bamboo stick or steel bar. Trowel finish
with IPS geru (brick colour) & 300mm x 300mm square with thread in plan markings.

g) Construction joints – 45 degree slope to be given & apply slab joint chemical next day to
continue pour.

h) Concrete pouring – Grade of concrete will be M-15 Mix proportion / cement content for M20

i) Placing of concrete by RMC using Pump or Dumping or Site Mix

j) 5cum per truck or Site Mix volumetric

k) 30 min cycle time ( complete in 3 hours )

l) Tamp off after maximum 30 minutes

m) Curing – water & hessian covers ( 72 hours curing )

5.0 MANPOWER RESOURCE REQUIREMENT/SUPERVISION

Masonry gang shall comprise of the following personnel:-

 Masons: 16
 Carpenters: 20
 Steel Fixers: 40
 Saw cutting masonry: 10
 Labours: 120

6.0 MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS

 Blocks
 Nails
 Wooden Patti
 Planks (MS & wooden)
 MS Plates
 hessian cloth
