Lesson Plan According To TKT

The lesson plan aims to help 15 intermediate English students practice speculating about past events using the modal "must have" through listening and speaking exercises. Students will first listen to a story and speculate what happened to the main character. Then they will work with the teacher to generate possible situations for another character and write their examples on the board. Later, students will listen to more situations and speculate what must have occurred. Finally, students will share unusual personal experiences and speculate about what must have led to them. The goal is for students to gain confidence using the modal "must have" to discuss possible causes for events with limited information.
