SAP Analytics Cloud Integration
Summary from a technical perspective

ByD – SAC Integration is designed as data acquisition scenario.

You schedule aggregated data exports to SAC using OData APIs.

▪ Based on the report API, summary calculations and report results can be reused in SAC.

▪ The replication approach allows to use the full spectrum of SAC features.

▪ The report API is designed to deliver summary data for reporting clients.
Accordingly, it has limitations when data on business document level is needed.
For this, we recommend the data source API.

▪ Access rights and users need to be managed on SAC side.

▪ Please consider current data limitations defined by SAC per model.
