Privacy
Under the Privacy or Personal Information Protection Act (PPIPA), Council is required to
advise you that personal information being collected from you in relation to this matter will
only be used for the lawful and proper functions of Council. Any such use will be in
accordance with this Act and its associated Management Plan and Codes.
Declaration by
I certify that our Traffic Control Plan complies with AS 1742.3 – 1996 and all work cover
Applicant
requirements. In addition, I will ensure that the site is controlled as described in the attached
Traffic Control Plan and will comply with all conditions of approval.
Conditions of
1. This permit is to be in the possession of the Plant Operator on site at all times and

must be produced on request by the NSW Police Service or Council’s Officers.
2. Suitable warning signs, barricades and traffic lane markers to control the traffic flow
are to be erected around the area defined above.
3. Permits are issued for standing plant for a one (1) day period. If the works exceed
one (1) day, please refer to Manager – Traffic and Transport for appropriate fee.
4. This permit is not transferable. Should the work be delayed due to inclement weather
or other circumstances, the Applicant is to contact Council’s Manager – Traffic and
Transport to determine an alternative date to complete the work.
2. Any variation to these hours must have written consent by the Manager – Traffic and
Transport.
3. The applicant must provide a safe pedestrian / cycle route around the work area. The
site must be kept clear of all tripping hazards, with the route clearly visible and
delineated.
4. All affected businesses, residents and other occupants must be notified in writing
prior to the works commencing.
5. All associated fees and charges are in accordance with Lane Cove Council’s
Schedule of Fees & Charges.
6. The Permit fee must be paid at the time of lodgment. Any additional fees and
charges will be invoiced to the company at a later date.
7. The Open Space & Urban Services Division of Council reserves the right to cancel
the permit at any time should any of the conditions not be complied with.
