This lesson plan aims to teach 9th grade students about stress management. It will begin with an introduction from the presenter and overview of lesson objectives. Students will then define stress, draw how their mind reacts to stress versus relaxation, and brainstorm healthy and unhealthy stress responses. Next, students will work in pairs on a stress scenario and identify solutions. Individually, they will list personal stressors and reduction plans. To close, students will share key takeaways and complete a post-test assessment. The goal is for students to better manage stressors and potentially improve academics.
