Technical Report For Dexa Scan

The technical report summarizes issues with a Lunar Prodigy Advance machine. When attempting to start the encore 2007 software or calibration, an error message appeared and the scanner arm did not move. Machine: Dexa Scan

Equipment Model: Lunar Prodigy Advance

Problems:

System was properly turn on. But when we start the encore 2007. The error message was show.

Check the figure for error.

Then start the QA (Quality Assurance) and start the Home Position or Start the Park Position, the
scanner arm doesn’t move and show the error message. Error show in the figure.
This error message also shows when we start the calibration. D16 and D19 LED was glow as red light on
CSBC PWB, and the scanner reset error show.

Work Description:

 Check the Scanner movement supply for the relay, the 5v Dc voltage from CSBC to Relay was not
exist on connector J21.reley was not operate. Relay is show below.
 Check the power supplies, all the power supplies from the power supply to the CSBC PWB are
present.
 But the j21 (5V dc) from CSBC PWB to the Relay was not exist.
 Moisture found on the CSBC PWB.
 Service the CSBC PWB & wash the PWB.
 Dry the PWB with Dry Heat.
 Re sold all the main ICs and moisture effected components.

Results:
The system status remains same as defined.
