Formal Group: Command Group : After Launching A Show They Decided That
Command Group;
Management issue problems, assign task, delegates authority, unifies activities control the personnel to
get the things done. This group is work-oriented.
Interest Groups:
The members have shared interests in the group. The group may be temporary or an objective to
accomplish. The group may be permanent, short-term or long-term, formal or informal ,or line or staff.
Informal Group:
Task Group;
The task group is less formal and work-oriented. Once a project is complete, the group will come to an
end. The group is more productive than the traditional command group.
Stages of Groups
Forming: The first stage of group development is the forming stage. The team has just been introduced
and everyone is overly polite and pleasant.
Examples: When PSL(Pakistan Super league) brand were newly started it is formed by PCB .The main
Purpose of starting PSL is to promote Pakistan Talent. The Initial Stages of PSL making is forming.
Storming: The second stage of group development is the storming stage. This is the stage where the
dominating group members emerge, while the less confrontational members stay in their comfort zone.
Examples: After Launching a show they decided that
Norming: Group leadership is very important, but the facilitator can step back a little and let group
members take the initiative and move forward together.
Examples: The Franchise is Included & Who was the Sponsor of PSL.
Performing: Members are flexible, interdependent, and trust each other. Leadership is distributive and
members are willing to adapt according to the needs of the group.
Examples: All the thing is ready & PSL has now Launched ,this is the stage of performing.
Adjourning: At this stage, the project is coming to an end and the team members are moving off in
different directions.
Examples: The PSL season was end the all franchise & Cricketers were finish our contract and going to home.
