Point 1 – Un-Installation and deletion of updated Java and Installation of JAVA 7


update 65.

 Un-installation process:
Please uninstall the updated, various other java versions and multiple Java versions from Control Panel\All
Control Panel Items\Programs and Features.

Deletion of Java temp files from C:\ drive of Users profile:


Please follow the below steps to delete the Java temp files-
1. Go to C:\ drive
2. Select Users
3. Select the User name
4. Go to the address bar and add the following content- \AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java\Deployment\security
5. Delete all the content of inside the Security Folder that will open.

 Installation process:
Please click on this link- http://www.filehorse.com/download-java-runtime-32/17428/ (or copy and paste
it in address bar of browser) and download the Java 7 update 65 exe file. Then install the Java 7 update 65
by clicking on the exe file of the Java.
Please follow the below steps to install the Java7 update 65-

a) Click on Java7 exe file and run then select on “Install”:

b) Installation in progress

c) Click on Next

d) Click on close to complete the installation.

e) Automatically the Java verify page will appear and user need to click on “Agree ad Continue”

g) Click on “Later”

h) Select on “radio button” and click on Run.

i) Close the I. Explorer browser once the below page appears.

J) Now open Control Panel in the computer and do the settings in Java as shown below-
Open the Java:

Click on Security Tab:

Select “MEDIUM” security level:

Click on Edit Site List: Add the website- https://ofbeproc.gov.in

Click on OK and Apply and OK.

Please restart the computer after doing the necessary mentioned settings shown
above.

POINT 2- INTERNET EXPLORER SETTINGS

Step 1: Open an internet browser and click to “Tools” “Internet Options”

Click to “Security” and then “Trusted Sites”

Click to “Sites” and type the site address

Then remove the check from the box (Require server verifications...)

Step 2- Go to “Internet” and click on “Custom Level”

Reset the settings to “Medium” and click to “Reset’ and OK.

Then “Enable” the “Include local directory path...”

Step 4- Go to Tools  Internet options  Content  Clear SSL state.

Step 5- Go to Tools  Internet options  Delete Browsing History and Cookies.

Step 6- Go to My computer  Tools  Folder Options.

UN Tick the settings- Hide extensions for known file types.
