Unemployment Discuss... What is the state of unemployment in your country?

How does it make them feel?
Vocabulary: Work Job: the job someone does in order to earn money; employment Profession: A type of job that requires special training, skill, education, etc. Occupation: any job or profession Career: The job, or series of jobs and assignments, one has in a particular area. Labour Work with especial reference to physical work Duty: The work that someone is responsible for getting done Trade: A job, especially one that involves physical work and requires special training and skills Vocabulary: People related to work Employee: A person who is paid to work for a company or another person. Employer: A person or company that pays people to work for them. Colleague: A person you work with Assistant: A person whose job is to help/support sb in their work. Associate: A person that you do business or work with. Applicant: A person who formally requests to be given a job. Entrepreneur: A person whose job is to start and/or run business, usually involving financial risks Vocabulary: Money Salary: Money that employees receive each month/year for doing their job Wage: Money received according to the number of hours/days/weeks that they work Income: MOney sb gets from work or receives from investments Profit: Money that somebody gets in business. Fee: Money sb pays for professional advice and/or services Compensation: Money that is given to sb because they have been injured at work Pension: Money that is given to sb regularly after they have retired.
