SOCCER - EN

A. Obligations before scouting of the event:

1. Change the relation status to 30 minutes left, when you're present and in position at least 30 minutes
before the match starts.

2. Enter the correct starting line-ups and shirt numbers. Use one of the websites, where you can find full
line-ups, such as www.flaschscore.pl, www.soccerway.com, or the official sites of clubs and associations.
Don't forget about the list of obligatory leagues. If you cover an event from this kind of league and you
have a lack of players for line-ups in the "Season Squad" section, write to the group - Statscore Team on
Telegram. When your event is not on the list, enter the names of players manually, by using the "Add new
player" section.

3. Use settings and in the "Event details" section. Switch the default settings from
"No" to "Yes". All line-ups should appear on the customer's websites. Confirm changes by clicking on the red
floppy disk button in the upper right corner.

4. Then go to the setting "Ball movement" and select "Yes".

5. Set details for the match you have to cover in the " event details" section - weather conditions, pitch conditions
and extra period type. Save all changes by clicking on the red floppy disk. You should also select the name of
the referee in the "events".sections.
6. Turn on the match review for your event by clicking on the button "Tracker preview"

. Watch your tracker while working to stay up to date. Check


here your results and all major statistics (the important ones are cards and corner kicks). Just before the game,
also check your lineups ( there should be 11 vs 11 and all shirt numbers), by clicking on the icon "lineups"

7. Change the relation status to 5 minutes left, when the event is 5 minutes from kickoff, click on the icon

to activate betting odds ( ). The two remaining buttons will be

responsible for corner and cards markets and work automatically by using
buttons, which are described below.

6.After the first whistle use the icon "1st half started" and "Kick off" , to mark the team that will
start the game. After that, change the relation status to "in progress".

WARNING! This icon should be used only once a game (not after every goal).
B. Scouting the event

1. Ball movement

Under the "Incidents" section are two miniature pitches you use for pin-pointing the ball position. Try to cover
the relation and the ball position as accurately as possible.

2.Shots on goal

Use the icons "Shot on target" and "Shot off target" . Try to enter the name of player who take
the shot (it's not necessary). For shots that hit the woodwork/post, treat like shots off target.

Use the icon "Shot blocked" on the attacking team's side.

3. Corner kick

Click on the icon "Corner" then "Confirmed" Click on the point of the pitch (correct quarter),
where the corner kick was given.

If it turns out that the corner was not given, use the icon "Cancelled"
Block odds using "Corner" in the following situations:

When the ball leaves the field near the corner flag and it's not certain whether the game will be resumed
with a throw-in or a corner kick.
The player has shot and the ball has left the field but the camera does not show where the ball landed

"Corner" icon will CLOSE automatically the odds market for corners

"Corner confirmed" or "Corner cancelled" button will OPEN automatically the odds market for corners

Do not mistake the team that has a corner. The number of corners is one of the most important statistics!

4. Throw in

Click on the icon "Throw in" , then click on the pitch where the throw in will take place.

5. Free kick/dangerous free kick

Click on the icon "Free kick" or "Dangerous free kick" then choose the point on the pitch, where
the free kick was given.
Use the "Dangerous free kick" icon for free kicks, that may result in scoring a goal - a dangerous cross or a shot
from close range.

Remember about clicking free kick after "Offsides" for the attacking team.

6. Goal (confirmed/cancelled)

Click on the icon "Goal" on the side of the team that gets the goal. The goal will appear on the

preview and the match result will change. Keep this icon in this view then there are two
possibilities:

The goal is allowed. The referee points at the centre of the field and the team which conceded a goal

kicks off to resume the game → Click "Confirmed"

The goal is disallowed. If the referee doesn't count a goal → Click "Cancelled"

WARNING! Even if the referee allows the goal the decision can be changed until the kick-off (VAR system). If

that is so → Click "cancelled"

Remember to add the scorer's name in the column "Participants" in the "History" section and confirm this by
clicking on the black floppy disk at the end (look at the screen placed below)

WARNING! The only way to remove too quickly added goal is to use the delete button.
7. Own goal

Use the icon "Goal" and then "confirmed" on the side of team which SCORES a goal. Then
proceed to the "History" section and and choose the correct attribute for the "Goal" incident

. In this case - "Own goal". Add the name of the unlucky player who scored for the
opposite team.

WARNING! If you used a "goal" incident but the referee decided, that it was an own goal, just change the
attribute to "Own goal" and choose a new player from the "Participants" list.

8. Substitution

Click on the "Substitution" icon. There will be two incidents (Substitution out/Substitution in) in the
"History" section. The time of both incidents are the same. Enter the correct name of both players in the
"Participant" column. Adding the names of players is obligatory when you're covering a game with full line-ups.

WARNING! When the substitution was made at halftime, click on the icon "Substitution" immediately after the
start of the 2nd half and set the time for both incidents for 45:01.

9. Yellow and red card

In the case of showing a yellow card use the icon "Yellow card" and then "confirmed" (or "Cancelled")
. Dont forget about using "Free kick" or "Dangerous free kick" and marking
on the pitch where the free kick was given.

In the case of direct red card, just click "red card" and then "Confirmed" (or "Cancelled")

When the red card is showed after the second yellow card click on "Red card" icon and then

"confirmed"(or "cancelled") . Then proceed to the "History" section and and choose the

correct attribute for the "red card" incident - "2nd yellow card"

Adding the names of players booked is obligatory when you're covering a game with full line-ups and you clearly
see the player who received a card.

Every time you click on the "Yellow card" or "Red card" icon the odds markets are closed

The "Confirmed"/"Cancelled" buttons enable these odds markets.

10. Penalty kick and possible results:

"Penalty goal"
"Missed penalty"
"Penalty saved by goalkeeper"

When you see a foul in the penalty box click on the icon "Penalty" . This icon will close the odds
markets (and cards markets)

Keep icon in this view There are two options:

"Confirmed" - If you are absolutely sure that penalty kick is awarded. Then click on the penalty
box to mark the penalty kick on the tracker.

"Cancelled" - If the referee orders play to continue (or changes a decision after using VAR). This

icon open the odds market

Assign the name of the player who will take a penalty kick to "Penalty" incident (section "History").

When you have marked a penalty, but the referee has punished player with a yellow card (or red) click on this

icons: or .

WARNING! Yellow card activates "cards markets" but keeps all other odds suspended

Please, do not click on the icon "Penalty" again, after the "Yellow"/"Red card". Choose one of the possible
results of the penalty kick:

a) penalty goal - use the icon "Goal" and "Confirmed" when the player scores. Like in the
case of an "own goal" select the required attribute for the "Goal" incident ("Penalty goal") Remember to add the
name of scorer!
b) missed penalty - click on the "Penalty missed" button when a player has shot off target/woodwork/off
the post. Add the name of player who missed.

c) penalty saved by goalkeeper - use the icon in the case of a shot that is saved by a goalkeeper (on
side of team which received the penalty kick). Add the name of the player who took the penalty kick.

Enter the name of player who scored/misses/took the penalty kick.

WARNING! "Penalty" column in the section "Statistics and results" shows the score of a penalty shootout - not
the number of penalty kicks given during the match.

11. injury time (added time)

Use this icon to show that added time has started and additionally, in the "history" section enter the
correct number of minutes add in the field "info". Confirm all changes by clicking on the black floppy disk.

12. "VAR"
When the referee uses the VAR system (or when you suspect that the situation can be checked) use the icon

"VAR" . This icon automatically suspend all odds markets for your match

If you are sure about what kind of situation is verified, choose the correct attribute to be assigned to the incident

"VAR" in the "History" section .

If the goal/penalty kick/card is cancelled, proceed as in the case of "Goal cancelled" (point 6).

If the goal/penalty kick/card is granted, use the suitable icon ( , , , and

). Remember, that after situations with "VAR" all odds markets should be active again.

13. Goalkeeper saved

"Goalkeeper saved" icon is not used.

14. Extra time and penalty shootout

When you're sure that there will be extra time, click on the icon "more" to open the pop-up with rarely

used statuses and icons. Choose the icon: "Waiting for extratime" (not "Finish in regular time"). To start

the extra time use the icon "Extratime 1st half started" . Then use: "Extratime halftime" ,"Extratim
e 2nd half started" .

If the game finished after extratime, use the icon "Finished after extratime" . In the case of a penalty

shootout use "Waiting for penalty" and then "Penalty shootout started" .

During the penalty shootout use only incidents:

- "goal" - choose "Penalty goal" attribute and enter the name of every player, who scores

- "Penalty missed" - even when the goalkeeper saves a penalty (only in penalty shootout!). As
above - add the name of the player.

15. Situations when you should suspend the odds manually →

brutal foul or a fight that could result in a red card (wait until referee makes the decision)

Problems with the broadcast from TV - when there is a problem with match coverage

technical problems (e.g. problems with computer, Internet connection, Relation Panel)

when you aren't sure about the correct score or you can't see what the current score is - first, correct the
result and then use betstart !

just before "VAR system" icon

big delay of the relation (problems with Internet connection at venues)


incorrect match status (in "event incidents" section)

Icons: "goal", "corner" and "ccard" turn off the odds automatically and they are turn on, when you click
confirm/cancelled. If you have already used one of the buttons "goal/corner/card", but this incident hadn't
occured, just use "cancelled".

16. General rules of scouting the event

keep an eye on your statistics! Compare your results, card and corner kick statistics with websites such
as: www.flashcore.com, www.soccerway.com, and bookmakers sites with live odds. Your match review
can help you. The most important stats can be found in the "Statistics and results" section. If you want to

find the extended statistics of your match click the icon placed in the upper right corner.

enter the name of the player to incidents: goal, yellow card, red card, substitution out/in and if you have
the possibility: shot on/off target and corner kicks

try to include a 2 seconds break between incidents e.g. offside→ free kick, shot off target→ goal kick
keep track of the time on your panel. You should still compare your time with the official game clock. You
can also freely change/stop the time by using clock in the "event match" section

when you have a problem with TV transmission (low quality, no source) click the button "technical

problems" and try to find an alternative sources of transmission (other bookmakers websites).
Now you should change the setting "ball movement" in the section "event details" from "yes"

to "no" and start using icons: possession , attack and dangerous

attack accordingly: when a team has the ball in its own half, gets in the half of the other team, is
about on 30 m in front the goal they are attacking.

pay special attention to the latency of your TV transmission, compared it to other bookmaker websites. M
aximum, acceptable latency is 10 second. If the latency is greater than 10s, write to the Statscore Team
group on Telegram and start covering your event from another source (graphics on other websites).
if you want to assign a player to incident

but for some reason it's impossible because the list of players is unavailable, try to refresh your panel
using the F5 key on your keyboard.

when you have a problem, send this information to the Statscore Team group on Telegram

C. Obligation after scouting the event

In accordance with the attached video material every Scout has to:

finish the game with the correct status ( , , ). These icons automatically suspend all

odds markets for your match

change relation status to "Finished"


select the appropriate "winner" and "progress" (only cup competitions)

check your key statistics (results, number of corners, yellow cards, substitutions) compare with other
sites

verify the result of your match, by using the icon "verify result" in the upper right corner , compare
you results with other providers
and click on the button .
