Effective Communication Activity

This document provides instructions for an activity to improve communication skills through creating and sharing a video. EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION ACTIVITY

What are you going to learn in this activity?


You will be able to train your communication skills by recording yourself in a video. You will
be able to attend two online lessons from the expert ​María Pedroviejo where she will
provide you with useful communication strategies and pieces of advice to put in practice both
in your personal and professional life.

INSTRUCTIONS
- In this task, you are required record a ​video​ in English* related to a topic of your choice
and write a specific ​document​ linked to the video.

- There are five topic video ​options​ you can choose for your recording. See the table below
with the instructions you need to follow for each topic option:

*If you don’t feel comfortable with your English, we recommend that you choose a topic

SUBMISSION DETAILS

- To upload the activity you need to post a comment at the bottom of this page, pasting the

link of your video​ with Vimeo or Youtube and the ​required document​ attached on ​PDF​.

Verify the video can be watched from other accounts other than yours. Select either “hidden

option” for Youtube or “private link” for Vimeo to ensure your privacy.

- If you are doing the activity along with another Gaian, ​only one member of the team must

upload the activity mentioning your partner on the comment where you upload the activity.

DEADLINE

The ​deadline to develop this task ends on 27th of April at 09:00 am. Make sure your video

can properly be seen by us and if it has a password, you provide it to us.
