Annexure – I (Standard Operating Procedure for Installing SSL-VPN Client)

1 Download SslVpnClient.exe – FortiClient SSL VPN from following Lnik:

http://osmanabad.nic.in/newsite/eGovernance/VPN/FortiClientOnlineInstaller.rar

2 Install SslVpnClient.exe utility on Laptops of each Talathi , Circle officer’s


3 VPN User ID’s for Talathi & Circle officers : Respective SevarthID in CAPITAL
4. VPN User Password : Talathi & Circle officers should contact SDC Helpdesk
9920160265 from their OWN mobile as same is registered in SDC. SDC Team may ask
following information for confirming the user before issuing Password
a. Full Name of Talathi , Circle Officer
b. Date / year of Birth
c. Name and Mobile number of your reporting officer (for Talathi it is Circle officer and
for Circle it is Tehsildar)
* Talathi, Circle officers should not disclose, share their VPN UserID and Password.
4 Follow installation instructions as mentioned below
5 After installation Talathi, Circle officer should Test the VPN-Connection and eMutation
application from Laptop using Datacard.
Once installation is complete, click on Close.

Need to run the installed Fortinet client from Start Menu, below window will appear.
Need to fill the following details;

Server Address: 103.23.150.67:10443 Username: SSL VPN username. Password: SSL VPN

Password

Click on Connect
Below window will appear, click on Yes,

Now we are connected to SSL VPN,


To verify need to check by ipconfig command in CMD. System will get an IP of range 10.1.0.x,
as shown below.

Now you can use putty to access your server on 22 port.
