DPD European Depot Network Notes for DPD Service

1. When the volume of goods exceeds 4.0
cubic metres per tonne, the company
charges are based on whichever is the
greatest, volume or weight.
2. The sender is liable for all non-paid duty and
VAT by the receiver when delivery has been
made. An additional administration charge
of £10.00 or 2% of the value, whichever is
the greater, will apply. The sender will also
be liable for all costs relating to any goods
returned due to non-payment of duty and
VAT.
3. Some rural areas may be outside the
delivery times shown.
4. Delivery times shown exclude the day of
collection.
5. Tariff applies to mainland destinations only.
6. A handling charge of £19.00 per
consignment will apply for any items that
exceed 175cm in length and/or 300cm in
girth.
7. A returns surcharge per parcel will apply
when DPD return the parcel from EU/
EFTA countries, and covers the additional
operational and processing costs (see

Extended liability

Extended liability is easy to calculate using the simple steps below:

1. Round up the liability or replacement value of your shipment to the nearest pound, e.g.
£139.27 = £140
2. If the value is more than £700, the premium charged will be 1% of the value, e.g. if the
value is £837, divide this figure by 100 = £8.37. Minimum charge £7.00 up to a maximum
liability of £5,000

We’re always looking for ways to
make parcel delivery quicker, flexible
and more convenient. Pickup does all
of that. With 28,000 Pickup shops in
over 20 countries, our customers can
send and receive parcels at the Pickup
point that’s most convenient, whether
it’s on a busy street near the office or
somewhere closer to home.

Our local Pickup network makes it

convenient for customers wherever
they are in Europe. With 2,000 local
shops and self-service lockers, we’re
already nearby. This year, we’re adding
4,000 new Pickup points to our
network, so more and more people can
enjoy the convenience of picking up
and dropping off a parcel just around

A collect and return service

With DPD Pickup, customers benefit from
having the option to choose delivery to the

sale, or if they aren’t going to be at home,

the zone guide and scheduled transit times, and follow the simple steps.

Terms and Conditions

1. All prices are door to door. 2. All rates are per consignment in UK £ sterling and exclude VAT. Note: VAT is applicable to all EU
destinations. 3. For parcels, price includes transit liability of $100 per consignment. 4. When the volume of goods exceeds
5.0 cubic metres per tonne, the company reserves the right to charge by volume. 5. Rates quoted include routine Customs
clearance for informal entries. For complex Customs procedures requiring formal entries, and/or use of receiving country’s
deferment account, a charge may be made to the consignee. This will depend on the country, destination and/or commodity.
6. We are unable to deliver to PO Box/BFPO numbers. Delivery to PO Box only accepted for parcels going to Oman, Qatar,
Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kenya and Panama. 7. All consignments are carried under the Terms and Conditions of carriage of DPD,
a copy of which is available on request. 8. The sender is liable for all non-paid duty and VAT by the receiver when delivery has

DPD European Heavyweight Network Notes for DPD Service

1. When the weight of goods exceeds
31.5kg and up to a maximum of 300kg
volume or dead weight, the company
charges are based on whichever is
greater.
2. The sender is liable for all non-paid
duty and VAT by the receiver when
delivery has been made. An additional
administration charge of £10.00 or 2% of
