2. Discuss the mechanism involved in the following reactions
(A) Benzoin condensation (B) Aldol condensation
3. Write the mechanism of Electrophilic addition. Write about the reaction of hydrogen halides
with alkenes. Write the effect of peroxide on the above reaction
