Objective of Assignment

The objective of this assignment is to expose the students to selected topics in manufacturing technology by
analyzing the functions, working principles, operations and application of a specific technology.

Problem Statement

You must describe and analyze the technology regarding the function, working principles, operations, applications
and limitations. A technical report must be prepared and presented.
Report Writing (Technical Writing)

Each student has to present a technical written report. The report must contain the following:

o Introduction
o Functions and working engineering principles
o Applications and limitations of the technology in industries.
o Discussion and concluding remarks
o Utilization of resources
