SW102 - Advanced Course in .NET Technologies - 3 Months

Preamble:

This 3 months intensive training course has been specifically designed to address the requirements of
developers who want to become experts in .NET environment. Delegates will learn to develop
applications using C#, VB.NET and C++/CLI. They will also learn to apply these languages to develop
server-side applications which make use of ADO.NET, ASP.NET ,Web Services etc.
The course contains a substantial amount of Hands-On work. Delegates will be introduced to topics
during theory sessions and these will be followed by lab exercises related to the topic. Delegates can
work on practical exercises which will reflect commercial scenarios. The project work at the end of the
course enables students to get an exposure to the latest industrial standards.

and Working with Strings, Lists, Loops, Validation, Sub Procedures and Functions, Multiple Forms,
Standard Modules, and Menus, Arrays, Timers, Form Controls, File Handling, Exception Handling,
Working with Databases, Advanced Database Programming using ADO.net, Classes,
Generics,Collections, Inheritance, Custom Controls, Packaging & deployment, Using Crystal Reports.
ASP.net
Building a Web Application, Examples Using Standard Controls, Using HTML Controls, Validating Form
Input Controls using Validation Controls, Understanding Applications and State, Applying Styles, Themes,
and Skins, Creating a Layout Using Master Pages, Binding to Databases using Controls, Data
Management with ADO.net , Creating a Site Navigation Hierarchy, Navigation Controls , Membership

Project
During the 1 month project period, students are required to develop software in any of the areas
covered in the course, under the guidance of the faculty. Students can also take up relevant projects
from the industry.

Background knowledge
Participants are expected to have thorough knowledge on the following areas so that the course can be
effectively completed.
Basics of Digital Electronics, Computer organization, Operating System, Data Structures
Programming in C Language – Data types, Control functions, Arrays, Functions, and pointers

Duration of the course is 3 months, including project work.

Total Course fee is Rs.25000 (Service Tax extra).

Admission will be based on the marks scored in the qualifying exam.

Eligibility:

BE/BTech, Msc(IT/ computer Science / Electronics), MCA, BCA or equivalent of any of these. Degree
holders with PGDCA, DOEACC A, B level, Diploma Computer Sc, Electronics, or others with relevant
