Chapter 11 Fort
Bhumika - Before starting any work here, Mangalacharan is considered very important.
Its purpose is to get blessings of various deities and to concentrate the mind.
All the work is being done only as a result of blessings of God and Guru. Creator is only a medium.
Invocation
Greetings to Shri Ganesh, whose idol is about to bestow the boon. They are also auspicious. Hail to
Ganesh. Brahmarupa (Avyakta Rupa), who is worshiped by everyone, hail Saraswati. Chetan and
Moksharup, hail the mother of the three Bhuvanas. May Vaamayya Maheshwar impart knowledge to
me meaningfully, that is, give me the ability to express my thoughts in words.
Importance of Home
Bhumika- Before starting any scripture, the importance of that scripture is presented.
The subject of this scripture is Vaastu Shastra. In Vastu Shastra also the main subject is home. Therefore,
the glory of the house is rendered here.
Vishwakarma ji says that all the worlds from Brahma to Bhuvan are dependent on the householder
ashram.
Therefore, when should I start building the house and when should I enter that built house. I will tell his
time.
From Brahma (Avyakta, from where all creation (creation) has started) to Bhuvan, the whole world is
dependent on home life. The Ashram is four: Brahmacharya Ashram, Grihastha Ashram, Vanaprastha
Ashram, Sanyas Ashram.
Brahmacharya Ashram- Brahmacharya ashram is from birth to 15 years. At this time the person mainly
studies.
Grihastha Ashram - Grihastha Ashram is from 26 to 50 years of age. In this the person marries, follows
the householder life.
Vanaprastha Ashram- Vanaprastha Ashram is from 51 to 75 years of age. In this, a person normally stays
away from family life and guides his son etc.
The life of all these dependents is dependent on the householder's ashram, it has been told.
The glory of the house is also described in the beginning of the Rajavallabh Adi Granth-
A person gets pleasure of woman, son etc. from home. Religion, meaning and work are obtained from
home. The house is a place of rest for creatures. Not only this, the fear of cold, rain and heat is removed
from the house.
You get happiness from stepwell, well from home. The deity of the temple is attained from home. All of
this is found in the house itself, so all the gods like Vishwakarma, etc., first desire the house.
Tradition of Vastushastra
Bhoomika - The tradition of Vastushastra is mentioned in this verse.
O exalted among those who meditate, listen diligently. This ancient architecture has been said by
Shambhu earlier.
Explanation - First of all it is said that you are the best among those who meditate, listen with a
concentrated mind.
Listen with concentrated mind because this scripture is full of many mysteries.
The same thing has been said this way in the Samrangana Sutradhara.
This Vastushastra is hard to understand, deep in meaning and very elaborate. Only a person with serene
consciousness can cross this vast sea of architecture on a ship of wisdom.
After that Parashar Rishi said to Brihadratha Rishi. Brihadratha said to Vishwakarma. Vishwakarma said
this Vaastu Shastra, filled with many mysteries by the wish of the world.
Explanation
In this, one thing is more clear that the scripture which is being started now has a huge and glorious
tradition. Now the disciple is also joining the same tradition. He has an obligation to carry on this
tradition. Now his behavior should also be as per tradition.
