Adi's Programming Classes will be held from June 29th to August 24th for 7 weeks. About Our Team 


Aditya Gupta 

I am an 11th grade student at Panther Creek High 


School. I am really passionate about math and computer 
science and frequently participate in competitive math 
and programming competitions. Currently, I am taking 
undergraduate level calculus courses at North Carolina 
State University. In my free time, I like playing and 
watching sports, especially basketball. 

About the Class  


In this course, I will teach the Python 3 programming language starting from the basics. I chose 
Python 3 as the programming language because it is a good language for beginners and it is 
currently the fastest growing language in the world. 

I will provide:  

● 2 hours weekly of instruction  


● Weekly homework along with challenge problems (customized for age) 
● Weekly quizzes

Course Syllabus 
Materials required for course: Preferably windows laptop that can access the internet and run 
Python (feel free to email me for assistance)  

● Running python programs on Repl  


Week 1: Introducing Python and  ● Writing python code 
Working with Data  ● Data types (integer, string, boolean, decimal)  
○ String concatenation  
○ Basic operations (addition, subtraction, 
multiplication) 
● Variables  

● Reading input from user 


Week 2: User Input , Test Cases,  ● Logical expressions and operators 
and Conditionals   ● “If”, “elif”, and “else”  
● Test cases 

● Runtime errors, indentation errors, logic errors, etc 


Week 3: Types of Errors and  ● Array operations (append, length, etc)  
Arrays  ● Using IDLE python environment 

● While loops and for loops 


Week 4-5: Loops   ● “Break” and “continue” statements 
● Repetitive operations 

● Arguments in functions 
Week 6: Functions   ● “Return” statement 

● Final coding project  


Week 7: Final Project  ● Creating a game with Pygame library  
● Following tutorial online

$250.00 dollars per student for the whole 7 weeks. Group discounts will be available upon
