AUDIT ADJX USING SITESEE AND EXCEL

1. Open Mapinfo and GCELL or any kind of mapping format that is used

2. Load sitesee.mbx : Tools - Tool Manager - Add Tool

3. Select area to audit then export it to .txt : Table – Export – Selection

4. Open file .txt that were exported with Mapinfo, in this example were named Audit.txt
5. Create site boundaries of “Audit” with SITESEE and save it, in this example were named
ADJX_Payung.TAB

6. In this example the setting as below picture, please read the notes below
Notes :
- Site radius from column, in this example the value is 1.5 KM. It means that we will audit all
neighbors that exist within range of 1.5 KM from the site, you can change it with the value
that you want. One consideration to think of is the average range of site to site distance of
first and second layer neighbors in the network.
- Beam from column, in this example the value is 180 degrees. It means that we will audit all
neighbors that exist in 180 degrees beam of the cell, consider it wise to use 180 degrees
value due to it will grab all neighbors

7. Open file boundaries that were saved

8. The result will be like picture below

9. Open file Audit.TAB and create point with Mapinfo
10. After create point, open the file. The result will be like picture below
11. Query select of the dot from create point and boundaries from SITESEE
The idea is to select all dots within boundaries

Select form “from Tables”, click drop down Tables, then select ADJX_Payung first then Audit to
make the “where Condition” form like below (faster than to write it down ^_^ )
For form “Select Columns”, you can leave it * (grab all data) or select the query you need.
Select form “into Table Named” to give a name to the query.
12. After the query result pop up, export it to .csv
13. Open the .csv file, it will show something like picture below (* LAC_CI till Dir are the source, as
for LAC_CI_2 till Dir_2 are the target)

14. Open file “Telecommunication Calculation Excel_v1.0”

15. Input data from the exported Mapinfo to the file sheet Distance and Bearing INPUT (* Horizontal
Beam Target default fill is 90, as consideration note above)

16. Watch the magic done in OUTPUT

With this data you can audit neighbors, whether its missing neighbors or improper neighbors
etc, just lookup it with dump data, your creativity.
