Overview Standard Features


The PT-1 series printers are high speed, 9-pin dot matrix type • High speed, bi-directional printing
which use standard, continuous tractor feed computer paper. The

Application
The PT-1S (serial/USB interface) is used adding print capability to
fire control panels that support serial or USB printer interfaces. The
PT-1P (Parallel/USB interface) is typically used when the printer is
connected a computer graphical user interface.

Installation
The printer is configurable through simple dip switches to support
proper operation with the system. Connecting a serial/USB printer
may cause a ground fault on some control panels. If this happens,
an IOP3-A isolator module may be installed between the printer
and the control panel.

Engineering Specifications
