EHS SMART QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE

COMPLETE ENVIRONMENTAL METRICS ENTRY - WASTE AND AIR

OVERVIEW
The Metrics Application assists companies in meeting the
requirements for collecting, reporting, and managing the
economic, environmental, corporate, and social Indicators
involved in producing their Sustainable Development reports.

It provides the means for implementing a reliable process for


collecting, validating, consolidating, documenting, sharing,
and reporting non-financial data that is required as part of
applicable legislation.

This Quick Reference Guide (QRG) explains how to


complete Environmental Metrics entry for Waste and Air on 2. To access the Smart Cards, log on to Enablon and
the EHS Smart web application (8.10). navigate to your Initials in the upper right corner. After
clicking on your initials, you are able to toggle Smart
ACCESSING QUESTIONNAIRES View by clicking on the switch to turn it On
There are two ways of accessing questionnaires, namely via
the Home Page or by using Smart Cards. .
1. To access questionnaires via the Home page, click on
Metrics > Site Workspace.

Go to the local space (for example, enter "Houston TX" in


the Site Workspace and select the local space.

After turning the smart view , the web page will


refresh with the Smart View screen.

The next page displays the list of Environmental Topics,as


shown in the following screenshot: Scroll down until you find the Enter Metrics Smart Card and
click on the respective card.

4. Click next to the pencil icon next to the Waste Lines


1-12 (Mass Entry) to Edit the record, as shown in
The next page displays the list of Environmental Topics,as the below screenshot:
shown in the following screenshot; The progress bars show
the Percentage of Completion for the Questionnaire. It is
dynamically refreshed while the Contributor is filling
indicators.

5. Select the Waste Description, Process Source


Category and the Management Record from the
drop-down lists.

6. In order to automatically calculate the Total Waste,


scroll across the page and enter in the Hazardous
Waste and the Non-Hazardous waste.

COMPLETING YOUR QUESTIONNAIRE - WASTE


1. Select the pencil icon next to Applicablility
Questions for the questionnaire that you want to
complete. In this case, we will look at Waste.
7. Enter data for the rest of the Waste Rows

8. Click on the Save button to save the record.

2. Enter the Number of waste lines needed for


volumetric data entry and the Number of waste lines
needed for mass data entry. This will automatically
calculate the Total Number of Waste Lines. 9. Click the pencil icon next to the Waste Lines 1-15
(Volumetric Entry) to Edit the record, as shown the
in screenshot below:

3. Click on the Save button to save the record.

10. Select the Waste Description, Process Source

1. Click the Edit icon next to Air Emissions to edit the
record, as shown in the screenshot below:
