MARKET DESCRIPTION (SUPPLY AND DEMAND)

The University of Eastern Philippines is the leading University in Eastern Visayas. It produces
thousands upon thousands of graduates each year. Nearing its 100 years as it was established, there has
not still been a store that provides items and apparel that show University pride. Though students
create their own designs to be printed on t-shirts, mugs, and other items, not everyone is able to buy
the item much less see the items. In order for the majority of potential buyers to be tapped to purchase,
the UEP Centennial Souvenir Shop will be created for the purpose. This will not only be a channel for the
students, employees, alumni and stakeholders to show where they came from but also for the
University to gain income.

The following are the current suppliers of souvenir items in Catarman, Northern Samar.

The target market of the UEP CSS are the following:

The above mentioned are the target market of the CSS. Other than selling from the UEP
Centennial Souvenir Shop, the CSS will also sell during University events in order to maximize profits.
Booths will be set up in the respective colleges for easy access of the clients. Special orders will be
accepted for items not currently available at the store.
