This lesson plan is for a CLE (Christian Living Education) class for grade 2 students. Over 4 class meetings, students will learn about being part of God's family through Bible stories and illustrations. They will discuss Jesus' family and ways to show love for their own families. Students will draw pictures showing how they help their parents at home. The overall message is that by helping family and others without expecting something in return, students can show their love for God.

Date: June 16-20, 2014


Schedule: St. Lorenzo– Mon –Fri: 9:20 – 10:00
St. Therese – Mon-Fri: 11:00 – 11:40
Duration: 4 meetings

I - Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the pupils are expected to;
1. Understand the importance of prayer.
2. Know some of the characters in the bible.
3. Relate Jesus’ family to their own family.
4. Identify the values that will show love for their parents.
5. Propose ways on how to become good examples to others
6. Pray every day at home and in school.

God is our father and Jesus is our brother. We are one family under the
church. When we had our baptism our life was renewed and our original sins
were washed away.

Draw an act with explanation showing how they help their parents at home.
