Group Project: (Thermodynamics I - Bda20703)

The document provides guidelines for a group project on thermodynamics. Students must form groups of 3-5 members to prepare a formal report on an assigned topic. The report must include an introduction, body, conclusion, and references. The body must solve 10 problems related to the selected topic. Topics cover various thermodynamics concepts. Students must submit hard and soft copies of the report by the deadline. Each group member will provide peer evaluations to assess their contributions and cooperation.

(a) Students are required to form a group consists of maximum five (5) students (and a
minimum of three (3) students).

(b) The groups are needed to prepare a report based on the given topics
(i) No similar content / title is allowed for the group project. Therefore, before
selecting the title you must check whether the title is available or it is being
selected by the other the group.
(ii) Plagiarism is strictly prohibited.
(iii) Report: Should be prepared in hardcopy and softcopy in CD.
(iv) All the group members should involve in the progress monitoring activities.
(c) You are encouraged to use supporting and additional tools such as software, databases,
spreadsheet, or other IT and multimedia resources to enhance your presentation and your
overall project.

(d) Each group needs to prepare a report in the form of a “FORMAL REPORT” complete with
methods applied, calculations, supporting results and discussion for the given project. In
order to meet the standard quality of report writing, please refer to the guidelines of
report writing shown in section 3.

(e) Submission deadline is WEEK 9 (14 NOV 2019- THURSDAY) and you must submit:
(i) Hard copy of the report.
(ii) Softcopy of the report. You can prepare the softcopy in CD-R and attached to your
report.
