Letter of Reference

It gives me great pleasure to write this recommendation letter for Mr. Ghulam Mujtaba. I
have known him for the past few years as a student at Mirpur University of Science and
Technologies (MUST). I taught him GS-231 Probability methods in Engineering in which he
earned 81/100 and was top in 5% of his class. I had the opportunity to observe and appreciate
his academic caliber, as well as the versatility of his personality. I would rank him among the
top students during whole of my experience.
 
            He has distinguished himself as one of the best students in the class. He was active
and diligent class participant, a keen grasp of basic facts coupled with mathematical
knowledge, which he applies efficiently to problem solving. He has always exhibited
fecundity of mind. He is an ardent learner and likes to go beyond the theoretical purview, to
practical applications of his subjects and his perseverance enabled him to achieve his goals in
the laboratory sessions and industrial visits.
 
            He has involved himself in numerous organizations both in the campus and outside.
As a believer in social justice he has been actively engaged in community activities. He has
shown tremendous energy and boundless enthusiasm to participate, plan and organize various
intra and inter –collegiate events. He always strived to be the leader and set an example to his
peers. He takes up the responsibility of leading a team very well and completes work well
within the stipulated time. 
          
He is a multifaceted person with a zeal for academic, cultural and extra-curricular
activities. I am confident that your esteemed University will be an ideal place for him to
improve upon his existing skills through pursuing a master’s program. I recommend him for
admission to the MS Engineering program.
