they want to draw.

1. Let them bring out their art materials. (paper, pencil, crayon and a hard book on notebook
to put their paper on.
2. Choose the plant you want to draw and set in front of it. Observe the shape of the leaves
and the branches or twigs before you draw them.

Show 2 bowls in the class. The red bowl has 15 marbles in it while the bowl has nothing in it. Let the
pupils count the marbles. Show the number sentence for total number of marbles.
Number sentence: 15 + 0 = ________
Ask:
How many marbles are there in the red bowl? (there are 5 marbles)
How many marbles are there in the blue bowl ( zero )
Remember:
The sum of a number and zero is the number itself. This is called the Zero Property/ Identity
Property of Addition.
Present the 2 bowls to the class. Put 4 marbles on the blue bowl. Let the children count the
marbles in each bowl. Arrange the bowl where the red bowl comes before the blue bowl.

Number of Players: 2 to 3 groups of 7 to 10 players
Materials to be used: a piece of stick made of plastic or smooth wood or bamboo, marker
for each group with a distance of 8 meters from the line.
How to Play:
1. Group the class into 7, 8, 9, or 10 players.
2. Put a marker for each team with a distance of 8 meters.
3. Each group or team must have a stick to pass on from one player to another.
4. A signal will be given by your teacher to start the game.
5. The first player will run forward around the marker back to the place of the next player
and hands on the stick to him/ her. The first group to finish is declared winner.
B. Members open their legs wide enough to let the ball pass. Starter
from each group hold the ball with both hands bends and passes the ball under, between
the legs, to the next member. When the ball reaches the last member, he/ she passes it
back to the front member.
