Conceptual Framework: Technology and Livelihood Education aims to develop the students’ skills in the four major areas: Agri-fishery, Home economics, Information and Communication Technology, and Industrial
arts. These four major areas have sub areas to be discussed. First Agri-fishery, it is all about crop production, where students will learn skills in plant care and propagation. Fish processing, student will learn how to
preserve food. Horticulture is on plant production, Animal Production is all about rearing domesticated animals and last aquaculture this course deals with fish rearing. Second home economics these areas deals with
beauty care were skills in hair, nail, and body care will be thought. Care-giving will give them the knowledge and skills in rearing a child, care for adults and alike. Cookery is all about skills in cooking, where slicing,
chopping, frying and plating will be learned. Dressmaking is about skills in mensuration of the body, sewing and trimming. Front desk office focuses on reception, costumer care. Handicrafts is on weaving, curving, cutting,
and designing. Household services are about skills in cleaning, fixing, arranging, and repairing. Travel service is about guiding, informing and service. Wellness massage is about therapy, pressure point, and body care.
Third is Information and Communication Technology this area focuses on computer hardware service were skills in trouble shooting, resetting, and replacing parts is learned. Contact Center Service is about skills in
assisting and technical servicing. Illustration is about drawing and sketching using digital tools. Technical Drafting is about planning, lay-outing, and CAD skills. Industrials Arts topics are on Automotive Service still on
maintenance and repair skills. Masonry is on mixing, cutting, construction and measurement. Consumer Electronics is all about repairing and trouble shooting of appliances. Plumbing is about plotting, cutting and flow
designing. Carpentry is about cutting, hammering, and measuring. Electrical Installation is about plotting and fixing electrical line. RAC Servicing is about refilling, and maintenance. Shield Metal Arc Welding is about
cutting and combing of two metals. These are further developed with the use of new technologies available and techniques. Thus, the students also gain in-depth understanding of the said mini courses. The lessons are
taught with the aid of technology such as Schoology, audio-visual presentations and other. To gauge their learning, the students will be exposed to tasks which show real life situations for them to realize that what they have
learned can be useful is not limited to the four sides of classroom. As Paulinians, they will also learn the value of honesty, respect, love of God, cooperation and others with the help of the literary pieces presented and the
tasks that will be assigned to them.

Course Description: Applying knowledge and understanding of concepts, theories, and principles and developing hand-on skills in bread and pastry production, commercial cooking, care giving, household service,
dressmaking/tailoring, and beauty care services designed to acquire a basic career in of the above areas that will lead to Natural Certificate Level I.

Grade-Level Standards: At the end of Grade 8, the students is expected to have acquired the learning competencies prescribed in the area of specialization, which will establish a strong foundation for the competent of
skilled-oriented tasks (EPP, TLE/TVE)
