Changes In Dispatch Process

About this document:


The objective of this feature is to have a transparency in the system. The merchants need to
upload the image of signed copy of manifest to dispatch the shipment. This document
describes changes in Dispatch procedures that are done to handle the delay in the shipment,
shipment untraceable cases and to track shipments in a better way.

This feature will help the merchants in avoiding the cancellation of the orders in shipment
untraceable cases.

Who will be using this feature?


This feature will be available to the following teams and stakeholders within ShopClues:

1. Merchants

What is the process?


Click on Dispatch button on the manifest details page. The following screen will be shown
to the user.

Enter the courier boy name, his phone number and signed copy of manifest (.jpg image) in
the following screen.

 Pickup boy name, manifest image and phone number are mandatory.

User need to upload the image of the manifest copy signed by the courier boy. He will only
be able to dispatch the manifest after uploading the image of the signed manifest copy.

Click on ‘Choose File’ and uplaod the manifest image. The maximum size of image is 2
MB. In case the manifest image doesn’t contain the signature of the courier boy, then it will
be eligible for cancellation in ‘Shipment Untraceable’ case. After uploading the image of the
signed copy of the manifest, click on ‘Dispatch’ button.

If the user didn’t upload the signed copy of manifest, the following error message will be
shown to the user.
