GUIDELINES FOR FINAL EXAM AND CASE DIGEST COMPLIANCE

IN AGRARIAN LAW AND SOCIAL LEGISLATION

A. FINAL EXAM

1) SCHEDULE FOR THURSDAY CLASSES


- July 2, 2020, 5:30PM-7:30PM
- July 2, 2020, 7:30PM-9:30PM

2) SCHEDULE FOR SATURDAY CLASSES


- July 4, 2020, 1:00-3:00PM
- July 4, 2020, 3:00-5:00PM
- July 4, 2020, 6:00-8:00PM

3) FORMAT/PROCESS
- Final exam will be thru Google Forms.
- Each student must have a GMAIL account. Kindly send your respective GMAIL details to the class
beadle.
- The exam/link to the google forms will be sent to the students’ GMAIL account 30 minutes before the
scheduled exam.
- Response/answers to the exam will be closed 30 minutes after the scheduled exam. Students
effectively have 3 hours to finish the exam.
- For the class beadle, kindly email at [email protected], not later than July 1, 2020, an excel
file of all of the students’ GMAIL account details. First column for student number, second column for
student name (surname, first name), third column for the valid GMAIL account of the student, fourth
column for notes/remarks if student is graduating or not, and fifth column for student’s mobile number
(this will be kept confidential and used only in case there are issues concerning the student).
- Please answer all of the questions. Do not leave the exam/form unless you have answered all the
questions.

4) COVERAGE
- Final exam will cover the CARL, as amended, social legislations, and related jurisprudence.
- For CARL, as amended, pay attention to the updates sent last May 18, 2020. Make sure you already
have a good grasp of the fundamentals. Kindly include LBP v. Dalauta, G.R. No. 190004, August 8,
2017.
- For social legislation, please don’t forget the fundamentals (rights, obligations, definition, requisites,
and entitlement to benefits) and Atienza v. Saluta, G.R. No. 233413, June 17, 2019.

B. CASE DIGEST COMPLIANCE

1) There are about 70 jurisprudence for digest. They include repeated cases depending on topics.

2) For the students, kindly coordinate with the class beadle how many cases were you able to digest. I
understand that many are not in NCR, or are frontliners, and may encounter difficulties in sending right
away the case digests. I trust that you will provide the class beadle with verifiable information on the
number of cases you were able to digest. Unless necessary, no need to physically submit to me the
case digest for now.

3) For the class beadle, kindly email at [email protected], not later than July 11, 2020, a separate
excel file of a list of students and note the number of cases that each digested. Kindly note also those
who did not comply.
