relational database management system developed and marketed by SAP SE. Its
primary function as a database server is to store and retrieve data as requested by the
applications.

 SAP NetWeaver – technology platform that allows organizations to integrate data,


business processes, elements and more from a variety of sources into unified SAP
environments.

 Information Systems Management (SAP IS) – an organized integration of hardware and


software technologies, data, processes, and human elements designed to produce
accurate and useful information for decision-making purposes.

 Exchange Infrastructure (SAP XI) – is a core NetWeaver software component based on

collaboration.
