Going for goals! 1
Our dreams
Spend a bit of time thinking about dreams – not the dreams you have at night but the dreams you have for
the future. Talk about your dreams.
• When I grow up I want to be …
• When I was little I wanted to be …
• Each of you should fill in the think bubble to show what
your dreams are.
• Talk about the dreams.
• You might like to stick them on your wall or
fridge.
Going for goals! 2
Miracle time (1)
This term’s work is about trying to achieve our goals. Have you got a time of day that isn’t
working as well as it might for your family? It might
be first thing in the morning, bedtime or
mealtimes.
The first step is to think what you would like it to be
like. Just imagine that in the night your
‘family godmother’ came to see you. She waved her
magic wand and that time of the day
became perfect. Talk together about these
questions.
• What would you see that was different?
• What would you hear that was different?
• How would you feel that was different?

We will soon be starting an exciting new

project at Brampton to involve parents and chil-
dren together in SEAL work. More news about
this will be sent out soon so watch this space.

French
Apologies to 6C as it was stated incorrectly last week that Bexley
Grammar School were working with 6B it should be 6C. However, 6B will
be having Arsenal Double Club training in a couple of weeks - some
French and sport lessons, with the opportunity of an after school club
after that. So watch this space for more news and many thanks to Mrs Jackson for
organising both these activities.

Gary Wilson—Boys will Be…...Brilliant workshop

Many of our parents have already heard Gary Wilson speak on the
topic of engaging boys either at Brampton or at the Marriot. Such
was the demand to hear him he will be back in Bexley on Saturday
March 5th presenting another Parent and Governor conference. If
you are interested in attending please contact Miss Lambert via
the school office for tickets.

Ex-Pupil News
Congratulations to Adam Riley, an ex-pupil, who is currently in Australia, playing cricket for
six months. He has just signed a professional contract with Kent for next session and you
can see him on the Kent CCC website. Well done to him, obviously playing cricket down
under is the place to be at the moment. His mum, Mrs Riley, is our vice chair of Governors.

Coming to and Leaving School

Please can we remind everyone to keep the gates and driveway in Brampton Road clear for
other pedestrians and staff who need to get into school. They are having to hold up traffic
while some parents congregate for a chat. Be aware also that some staff will need to leave
the car park before 3.00pm so please be vigilant especially with your toddlers.
