MIND MAP Passive Voice

The passive voice is used to emphasize the object of the sentence rather than the subject. To form the passive voice, the verb "to be" is used in the appropriate tense followed by the past participle of the main verb. The passive voice is used when the agent performing the action is unknown, unimportant, or obvious. It is also used for factual or scientific writing when the subject is long.
