FINAL MECHANICS AND GUIDELINES


GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Candidates must be a bonafide student of SCNHS

and must come from their respective team.

2. Each team must have 1 male and 1 female representative.

3. Team leader must submit the names of the finalist on or before August 9, 2017.

4. Candidates must submit parent consent signed by parents allowing their child to
join the pageant, the coach and the team leader.

a. The following are the categories of the 2017 search for Mr. and Ms.
INTRAMURALS 2017.

a. Jeanswear and Team T Shirt (To be worn during Production Number)


b. PE Uniform (Official PE Uniform Design for SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL)
c. Sportswear
d. Question and Answer

5. The following are the Minor Awards during the coronation night.

a. Best in Jeanswear
b. Best in Sports wear
c. Best in PE Uniform
d. Mr. and Ms. Wit
e. People’s Choice Award

6. The following are the additional Special Awards.

a. Best in Production Number


b. Mr. and Ms. Congeniality
c. Mr. and Ms. Photogenic
d. Mr. and Ms. Body Beautiful
e. Mr. and Ms. Close Up Smile
f. (other special awards will be given depending on the availability of
sponsors)

7. Winners will be determined according to the total rank of each candidates.

8. Parents of the Candidates must be in the venue to watch and given an


opportunity to award whenever their child is awardee.

9. Meetings, practices, and other information will be posted in the bulletin board in
front of the Dressing Room.

10. Each candidate must submit filled up Official Entry Form to the Search
Committee on August 11, 2017.

11. The decision of the Board of Judges is final and irrevocable.

CATEGORIES OF COMPETITION AND SCORING PERCENTAGES:

a. Jeanswear 15%
b. Sportswear 25%
c. PE Uniform 20%
d. Question and Answer 40%

MR. and MISS INTRAMURALS

GUIDELINES FOR THE MR. and MISS CONGENIALITY
1. The candidates must attend the practice regularly. The committee will monitor the
attendance during practices.
2. The candidates must show respect to the administration, teachers, students, to the
Search Committee, and most of all to his/her co – candidate.
3. The selection for this award are as follows:
a. Voting among the candidates 50%
b. Attendance during practices 25%
c. Attitude 25%
4. Decision of the committee is irrevocable and final.

GUIDELINES FOR PHOTOSHOOT


1. The candidates should attend to the scheduled pictorial on August 11, 2017 ( Any time
depending on the schedule of Exam of the respective candidates)
2. The candidates will provide the following:
a. School Uniform
b. There will be NO make-up during the PHOTO SHOOT.
c. There will be no re – shooting.

GUIDELINES FOR SPORTS WEAR


1. Candidates should provide their sports attire.
2. No swimsuit or trunk is allowed. Motorcycle is not allowed. Props are
optional.
3. Criteria for judging Sportswear are as follows:
a. Choice of Dress 30%
b. Stage Deportment 20%
c. Carriage 20%
d. Beauty/looks 20%

e. Audience Appeal 10%
4. Judges decision is final and irrevocable.
GUIDELINES FOR PE UNIFORM
1. Candidates will wear the official SCNHS SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL PE Uniform.
2. Criteria for judging the PE Uniform are as follows.
a. Poise and Elegance 25%
b. Stage deportment 25%
c. Carriage 25%
d. Beauty / Looks 15%
e. Physical Fitness Appeal 10%
3. Judges Decision is Final and irrevocable.
CRITERIA FOR THE QUESTION AND ANSWER PORTION

a. Eloquence 30%
b. Stage Deportment /Beauty 20%
c. Content 50%

GUIDELINES FOR PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD

1. During the search, each candidate must provide a box with picture and it will place
at the management table.
2. There will be a time allotment for casting of votes in any monetary amount.
3. A one hour shall be given for casting of votes.
4. The master of ceremony will then announce if the casting of vote is “FINALLY
OPEN” and “OFFICIALLY CLOSED”.
5. The candidate who garnered the highest vote will be declared as the winner.
6. A separate award for People’s Choice Award for Female and People’s Choice
Award for Male.
7. Each team must secure technique on how to win this category.

We agree to abide by the rules and regulations governing the pageant at all times. In
signing this application, I hereby agree to accept the judges’ decision as final.
