NEWEST/OLDEST STUDENT
Michael Tearle has always wanted to play the oboe, having played
the cornet in days gone by. Aged 86, he finally got to realise his
dream! He lives in the Far North (30 minutes drive from Kerikeri) so I
decided to have a holiday in the vicinity and give him a lesson. He
sent me this:
Michael gave a little toot;
On the oboe -- not the flute.
Said he; "Some puff is what I need.
Plus, of course, a friendly reed."

With best wishes, Alison
